Coming Out in Middle School

Austin who came out of the closet when he was in Middle School. Goes to his first Gay dance party without his boyfriend. Who couldn't get a ride and couldn't ask his parents for permission because it it was still a secret. Austin feels left out while at the dance, but then learns that everybody has gone through the same things he has. Bunch of gay and bi-sexual and lesbian kids tell him stories of when they came out. He no longer feels lonely, now knowing he is where he needs to be. He feels a sense of belonging there, since their is no one who is not weir like him. It is never to late to come out. This is a free country feel free to be whoever you want to be.

  1. I do agree with you that this is a free country and people have different ways of expressing themselves. This article relates to the whole conservative and liberal perspective. A lot of conflict is derived from these opposing views. I don't think the government should have control over who a person could marry. A lot of change is in the air and i'm sure more stories like this one will be released as people adjust.

  2. David -- Good choice of articles and good response to it. But where did you find it? In the future, include the name of the publication, ok?
